I have always been interested in product photography but when I started getting interested in photography I never understood what it took to make great product images that would sell a product. In time and with a lot of reading and testing, not to mention investment in lighting equipment I started to experiment in product photography. This past Christmas my wife bought me a “Traditions 80” Humidor from cigarstar.ca , when I opened the box I was amazed at the Beauty and craftsmanship of this humidor and I knew I had use it to practice my product photography. I set up my lighting and tried to find the best angle to show off the details of this humidor which was not hard to do. This humidor is a thing of beauty with the multi lacquered finish. This is a show piece and I really enjoyed shooting it and it made me a better photographer.
